This album was started all the way back in July of 2018. I’ve worked on this album off and on for the last year and a half, even in the midst of my last album and EP. The album is titled after a King Crimson lyric that really resonated with me. If it wasn’t obvious the general state of the world we live in right now had a hand in the choosing of the name. This collection of songs is also influenced by a number of Prog rock albums, beginning with one extensive epic of a song followed by four shorter songs that are more to the point. “What you want to be, you will be in the end” went through many iterations to come to what it is and was quite an undertaking, maybe not the greatest idea in hindsight. All in all this album is the culmination of everything I have learned in music production and by no means is it perfect but I can only continue growing from here.
